An old State Bank of India (SBI) ATM booth in Danapur near Patna has grabbed massive attention online after being turned into a barber shop — without changing its original ATM look from the outside.
The former ATM kiosk still carries the familiar SBI branding, blue panels, and glass doors, making it appear like a working cash machine centre. But inside, the space has been completely transformed into a salon with mirrors, barber chairs, scissors, and grooming equipment.
According to locals, the ATM was shut down some time ago, after which the owner rented the cabin to a barber who decided to keep the structure unchanged while starting his business.
Soon, videos of the unusual salon began going viral across social media, leaving netizens amused. Many users came up with hilarious jokes like “State Barbers of India” and “Hair withdrawal only.” Some even joked that customers might need an ATM card and PIN to get a haircut.
The creative makeover has now become a talking point online, with many calling it a perfect example of desi innovation mixed with internet humour.
