⛽ BIG RELIEF! From July 1, No More Restrictions on Petrol & Diesel Purchases

The Central Government has withdrawn the temporary restrictions imposed earlier this month on the sale of petrol and diesel at retail fuel stations.

✅ What's changing from July 1?
📌 Commercial, industrial and institutional consumers can once again purchase petrol and diesel directly from retail petrol pumps.
📌 The 200-litre daily limit on diesel purchases per vehicle has been removed.
📌 Fuel sales will now return to normal as the government says domestic fuel supplies have stabilised.

The restrictions were introduced on June 12 amid concerns over global supply disruptions linked to the West Asia conflict. According to the government, the fuel supply situation has now improved, making the emergency measures unnecessary.

The move is expected to provide significant relief to transport operators, industries, businesses and other bulk fuel consumers across the country.
