CM Prem Singh Tamang Golay Attends 11th International Day of Yoga Celebrations

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang Golay participated in the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations at the indoor hall of Paljor Stadium. The event was attended by Governor Om Prakash Mathur, Cabinet colleagues, Lok Sabha MP, MLAs, dignitaries, Chief Secretary, DGP, officials, and students.

Golay praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in gaining global recognition for Yoga, calling it India’s heritage and pride. He highlighted Modi’s address from Vishakapatnam, where the Prime Minister noted that Yoga has become a part of millions of lives worldwide over the past 11 years. This year’s theme, "Yoga for Humanity 2.0," emphasized its universal importance.

The Chief Minister also thanked the National Ayush Mission under the Health and Family Welfare department for organizing the event.
