Gold Prices Rise in India Ahead of Dhanteras

Gold prices in India witnessed a slight increase on Monday, ending a five-day losing streak ahead of Dhanteras. According to IBJA data, gold prices rose by ₹80 to close at ₹1,41,710 per 10 grams, recovering marginally after a sharp decline of ₹4,234 over the previous week.

Meanwhile, silver prices also rebounded, snapping a four-day losing streak. Silver closed ₹64 higher at ₹1,94,479 per kilogram.

The marginal recovery in precious metal prices comes ahead of Dhanteras, an auspicious occasion when gold and silver purchases are considered significant.
