Illegal Liquor Transport Foiled at NJP
On August 17, 2026, acting on credible information, New Jalpaiguri GRPS intercepted an illegal liquor transport attempt and recovered 90 bottles of liquor at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. The seized liquor was being transported illegally by train.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
