Inspiring Story of a Father’s Dedication and a Daughter’s Triumph

Proud father of Team India spinner Radha Yadav, Omprakash Yadav, posed joyfully for a photoshoot balancing the World Cup trophy on his head — a powerful symbol of dreams fulfilled through hard work and perseverance.

Once a roadside vegetable seller, Omprakash’s unwavering determination paved the way for his daughter’s cricketing dreams. Today, as Radha shines on the world stage, her father stands tall — not just as a parent, but as an inspiration to countless families across India.

“She wants me to stay with her in Baroda, but I can’t sit idle. My shop is my purpose in life. My daughter feels I’ve worked really hard for the family and now should take it easy,” says Omprakash Yadav with pride and humility.

A heartwarming story of love, sacrifice, and success — where a father’s struggle became the foundation of his daughter’s glory.
