Kolkata Durga Puja Stampede: ₹25 Lakh Compensation and Government Jobs Announced By CM for Victims’ Families
Kolkata, October 18: Following the deadly Durga Puja stampede, West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari announced that families of those who lost their lives will receive ₹25 lakh each and a government job.
The announcement also promises ₹5 lakh compensation for every injured person, with the government covering their full medical expenses.
