Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sparked a political stir after a slip of the tongue during her address at the I.N.D.I.A. bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
While criticising the BJP, Banerjee mistakenly said, “BJP looted Bengal, we will loot Delhi.” She immediately corrected herself, clarifying, “We won't loot. We will save democracy.”
The I.N.D.I.A. bloc organised the rally to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities.
The remark quickly drew attention, adding a dramatic moment to the opposition's rally.
