Gangtok, May 1: Vehicular movement along the Sevoke–Rangpo stretch of NH-10 will face complete closure on six specific days—May 9, 10, 11 and May 13, 14, 15—due to ongoing construction activities.

According to official notifications, the road will be shut to all types of vehicles during the following time slots each day:
• 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Authorities have also clarified that heavy vehicles including trucks and goods carriers will not be allowed on the route even during the non-closure intervals.

Only vehicles associated with NHIDCL and IRCON involved in the construction work may be granted movement under special circumstances.

Motorists and commuters have been advised to plan travel accordingly and consider alternate routes to avoid delays and congestion.
