Promised Dubai, Abandoned in Delhi: The Heartbreaking Plight of Ganga Bahadur Darnal

Kathmandu, 10 Jan : Another shocking incident of foreign employment fraud has come to light, exposing the dark reality faced by many Nepali migrant workers. Ganga Bahadur Darnal (Pariyar), a resident of Katari, Udayapur, left his home four months ago with dreams of earning a living in Dubai to support his family. However, his journey took a tragic turn when he was deceived by a manpower agency and trafficked to Delhi, India, instead of his promised destination.

For four months, Ganga Bahadur दर्नाल remained out of contact, leaving his family in distress. He was recently discovered in Delhi in a "heart-wrenching" and destitute condition. Following his discovery, he was rescued and brought back to Kathmandu, where he is currently undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Witnesses describe his physical condition as devastating. He has suffered severe wounds all over his legs, and reports indicate that he has lost two of his toes. The sight of his condition has left many deeply saddened and outraged.

Ganga Bahadur had set out to secure a future for his loved ones, but instead, he was left fighting for his life. This incident has raised serious questions about the safety of migrant workers and has instilled fear in families sending their members abroad.

There are now growing demands for the immediate identification and strict punishment of the manpower agency and agents responsible for reducing a hopeful worker to such a tragic state.
