🔑 PUBLIC APPEAL: HELP LOCATE A LOST CAR KEY IN SILIGURI
🔑 PUBLIC APPEAL: HELP LOCATE A LOST CAR KEY IN SILIGURI
A car owner has appealed for public assistance in locating a car key that went missing near Sunhill Portico, Siliguri, on August 30, 2026, at around 6:20 PM.
The owner has also lodged a General Diary (GD) with Panitanki Town Out Post regarding the missing key.
CCTV footage from the area reportedly shows a person picking up the key from the road near the spot where the owner's vehicle had stopped shortly before the key went missing.
What happened next suggests that the person was genuinely trying to find the owner.
After picking up the key, the person can reportedly be seen walking towards the counter/security area of nearby Sunhill Portico and asking the security guard whether any hotel guest had lost a key. When informed that no guest had reported losing one, the person subsequently walked away.
🙏 The owner now hopes to reach this Good Samaritan and recover the missing key.
The person who picked it up may still be unaware of whom the key belongs to. There is no allegation or suspicion against the individual seen in the CCTV footage; rather, his effort to enquire about the owner is appreciated.
The incident occurred near Sunhill Portico, Nazrul Sarani, off Bidhan Road, Ward No. 14, Hakim Para, Siliguri.
Anyone who recognises the person from the CCTV footage, witnessed the incident, or has any information about the missing key is requested to contact the owner or inform Panitanki Town Out Post.
Please SHARE this post widely, especially among people in Siliguri, Hakim Para, Bidhan Road and surrounding areas, so that the key can hopefully be reunited with its owner.
