Recovery of Stolen Articles by Siliguri Police
On 01 April 2026, a theft case was reported at Khalpara TOP under Siliguri Police Station, Siliguri Police Commissionerate.
Cash amounting to ₹50,000, gold and silver jewellery, a passport, and other important documents were stolen from a residence within the Khalpara TOP area.
Acting on a credible tip-off, the Investigating Officer, ASI Dilip Sarkar, along with the Khalpara police team, conducted a raid and successfully apprehended one Rathin Ghosh of Dangipara, P.S. Siliguri. All the stolen items were recovered from his possession. The investigation is currently underway.
