Recovery of Stolen Articles by Siliguri Police
A theft case was registered at Matigara Police Station, under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate, following the theft of silver jewellery from a shop in Thakkar within the jurisdiction of Matigara P.S.
Acting promptly on the complaint and with the help of CCTV footage, Matigara P.S police team conducted raid and apprehended two persons namely (i) Ankit Ray (20 years), and (ii) Vishal Ray (19 years) both residents of Kolaibhaktari, Matigara. All the stolen articles were recovered and seized from their possession.Further investigation is underway.
