Recovery of Stolen Articles by Siliguri Police

On August 4, 2026, a theft case was registered at Bagdogra Police Station under Siliguri Police Commissionerate following a written complaint from a resident of Choto Siyavita, Ranidanga, who reported that upon returning home from his in-laws' residence, he discovered that the lock of his house had been broken and several valuable household articles had been stolen.

Acting swiftly on the complaint , Bagdogra Police Station police team conducted an investigation and apprehended one accused person, namely Sagar Barman (22 years) of Choto Siyavita , Rajajhar , Bagdogra.

During the operation, the police successfully recovered the stolen articles, including one LPG gas cylinder, one bronze-made Kula, three bronze-made Thalas, and one bronze-made glass, all of which were seized in accordance with the law.

Further investigation into the case is in progress.
