Report : Vande Bharat train creates record by covering 1,400 km due to operational blunder
A Sabarmati-Gurugram Vande Bharat special train (09401), meant to cover 898 km in 15 hours, created a record for the premium train's longest-ever journey covering nearly 1,400 km in 28 hours due to an operational blunder, Mid-Day reported.
The train was rerouted via Ahmedabad-Udaipur-Kota-Jaipur-Mathura route due to a technical mismatch as it didn't have a high-reach pantograph, report stated.
