Sikkim CM PS Tamang Salutes Armed Forces for Swift Response in Operation Sindoor

Gangtok, May 7: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) extended heartfelt tribute to the Indian armed forces for their decisive response under Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Terming the operation a "powerful symbol of India’s resolve against terror," CM Tamang lauded the bravery and efficiency of the soldiers who carried out the mission. He emphasized that their swift action not only avenged the loss of innocent lives but also safeguarded the nation’s sovereignty and reinforced the pride of Indian citizens.

"On behalf of the people of Sikkim, I salute our brave soldiers who delivered swift justice for the Pahalgam terror attack," stated the Chief Minister. "Their courage protects our sovereignty and upholds the dignity of every Indian mother who wears sindoor with pride and freedom."

The Pahalgam terror attack had earlier claimed 26 lives, prompting a nationwide outcry and demands for action. Operation Sindoor was executed in response, targeting terror strongholds across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The Chief Minister concluded his message with a resounding patriotic affirmation: "Jai Hind!"
