Siliguri Cyber Crime Police Recovers Money from Online Scam
The Cyber Crime Police Station in Siliguri has made a major breakthrough in an online fraud case. After receiving a complaint of one Ashok Chhetri on September 20, 2024, about a scam of Rs 31,40,000/-,the police recovered Rs11,30,800/-.
The recovery was led by the Investigating Officer S.I. Suraj Chhetri. The recovered money was returned to the victim after following legal procedures.
