🚨 Siliguri GRP Rescues Four Minors in Two Separate Operations
In two separate operations on October 12 and 13, 2026, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued four minor children at railway stations under the jurisdiction of Siliguri GRP.
🔹 First Rescue – Aluabari Road Junction
On October 12, GRP and RPF personnel rescued one minor girl and one minor boy from Aluabari Road Junction Railway Station. The Aluabari Road RPIC subsequently handed over the children to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Karnajora, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, for safe custody.
🔹 Second Rescue – Malda Town Railway Station
On October 13, personnel of Malda Town GRPS rescued two minor girls from Train No. 12510, SMVT Bengaluru–Santragachi Superfast Express, at Malda Town Railway Station. The children were entrusted to Railway Childline, Malda Town, for safe custody and subsequent production before the CWC, Malda.
Through these timely interventions, Siliguri GRP continues its commitment to protecting vulnerable children and ensuring their safety and well-being.
