Siliguri Police Conduct Security Inspections at Jewellery Shops and Banks to Strengthen Public Safety

Siliguri: In an effort to strengthen security and prevent criminal activities, various police stations and outposts under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate conducted preventive security visits to jewellery shops and banks across their respective jurisdictions.

During the visits, police personnel interacted with jewellery shop owners and bank officials, reviewed existing security arrangements and emphasised the importance of installing and maintaining CCTV surveillance systems.

They also sensitised business owners and bank authorities about other essential safety measures to prevent theft, robbery and other potential criminal activities.

The initiative aims to enhance vigilance, strengthen public security and improve coordination between the police and local business establishments to ensure a safer environment for residents and business owners.
