Two BJP Workers Arrested in Murder of Suvendu Adhikari’s Aide
The CBI has arrested two BJP workers in connection with the murder of Chandranath Rath, a BJP leader and aide of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, according to a report by The Indian Express.
The two accused, who had previously been associated with the Trinamool Congress (TMC), were reportedly part of Rath’s team. Investigators allege that they hired shooters to carry out the killing.
Rath was shot dead inside his SUV in May. The latest arrests mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the case, with the CBI probing the alleged conspiracy and the motive behind the murder.
