Vinesh Phogat reverses retirement decision, announces comeback on wrestling gold at LA Olympics 2028
Wrestler Vinesh Phogat has reversed her decision to retire. "I took time to understand...weight of my journey...In that silence, I found something I'd forgotten- 'the fire never left'," she wrote, adding she'd return to 2028 LA Olympics.
Vinesh had retired after she was disqualified from Paris Olympics as she was found overweight on the day of her gold medal bout.
