Wrong-Side WagonR Collides with Bolero Near Bagdogra Airport Flyover
Bagdogra, October 22: A road accident was reported near the Bagdogra Airport flyover at approximately 11:00 AM on Thursday after a Maruti Suzuki WagonR, allegedly travelling on the wrong side of the road, collided with a Mahindra Bolero.
The impact caused visible damage to the front portion of the WagonR, bearing registration number SK 02 Z 0916. The Bolero involved in the collision was identified by its registration number WB 74 BU 6753.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the accident.
According to preliminary information, the WagonR was allegedly moving against the designated traffic direction when the collision occurred. However, the exact sequence of events and circumstances leading to the accident have yet to be officially established.
The incident has highlighted concerns over wrong-side driving and traffic safety near the Bagdogra Airport flyover, a route frequently used by airport-bound passengers and other motorists.
