23 drown after bus plunges into Bangladesh river while boarding ferry
At least 23 people died after a bus carrying around 40 people plunged into the Padma River in Bangladesh as it attempted to board a transport ferry on Wednesday.
The Dhaka-bound bus lost control when a smaller ferry reportedly struck the pontoon, causing the vehicle to plunge into the water. Many people are feared missing and rescue operations are underway.
