400 Grams of Suspected Brown Sugar Recovered in Matigara, One Arrested

Siliguri, August 12: Acting on information, Matigara Police under Siliguri Metropolitan Police conducted an operation and arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the alleged possession of brown sugar.

The arrested person has been identified as Prakash Mandal (32), a resident of Naxalbari. During the operation, police reportedly recovered approximately 400 grams of suspected brown sugar from his possession.

The accused was taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the suspected narcotics and any possible links to a wider drug network. Police are also examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged possession and intended distribution of the substance.
