Gold hits over 6-month low on rate-hike concerns amid Mideast conflict
Gold prices fell to their lowest level in over six months on Thursday after fresh US military strikes on Iran. Spot gold fell by 0.2% to $4,063.87/ounce in early trade after hitting its lowest level since November 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, oil prices climbed more than $2 on Thursday, as Iran declared closure of Strait of Hormuz following the US' strikes.
