Indra Hang Subba Raises Pakyong Airport Safety and Connectivity Issues with AAI Chairman

New Delhi: Sikkim Lok Sabha MP Dr. Indra Hang Subba met Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Puneet Kansal, IAS, at his office and discussed safety and operational challenges concerning Pakyong Airport, the state’s only airport.

During the courtesy meeting, Subba highlighted the need for safety measures to ensure safe and reliable airport operations and stressed the importance of addressing existing challenges.

The MP reiterated that safe, reliable and sustainable air connectivity is vital for Sikkim’s tourism sector, economic growth and overall development.

Subba also congratulated Kansal on being entrusted with the responsibility of leading AAI and extended his best wishes for his tenure.
