Kalchini Police Help Recover ₹9,004 in Cyber Fraud Case

Kalchini Police successfully recovered ₹9,004 in connection with a cyber fraud complaint filed by a local resident. The victim had reportedly lost ₹14,000 after fraudsters posing as washing machine service providers tricked him into clicking a link and sharing his UPI PIN.

Acting promptly on the complaint, police took necessary steps to recover the amount, which was subsequently credited back to the victim’s bank account.

Police have once again urged the public to remain alert against online scams and never share UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords or banking credentials with anyone.
