Rupee Hits Record Low As Rising Oil Prices And Iran Conflict

The Indian rupee fell to a record closing low of 94.8450 against the US dollar on Wednesday as UAE's exit from OPEC pushed oil prices higher.

The rupee restarted hitting record lows as effects of RBI's currency control measures faded and foreign investors continued selling.

This comes as the Philippine peso and Indonesian rupiah also hit record lows on Wednesday.
