Sukna Range Forest Officials Seize Vehicle Carrying Illegal Sal Logs During Night Patrol
Acting on specific intelligence received from reliable sources, a team of Sukna Range forest officials, led by Range Officer Deepak Rasaily, conducted a naka checking operation on Hill Cart Road (NH-110), near Dagapur Ground.
During the operation at around 11:30 PM, the team intercepted a Mahindra Max pickup vehicle bearing registration number WB 73 A 4671, which was found carrying four sal logs measuring approximately 0.98 cubic metres.
One person has been detained in connection with the incident. Further investigation is currently underway to ascertain the details and circumstances surrounding the transportation of the timber.
