Swift Action by Siliguri Police in Theft Case
On 11.10.2026, a complaint was lodged at Pradhan Nagar Police Station under Siliguri Police Commissionerate regarding the theft of two gym weight plates, each weighing approximately 20 kg, from a gym located in Pati Colony during the intervening night of 7–8 October 2026.
Acting swiftly, the plainclothes team of Pradhan Nagar Police Station launched an investigation and, on 12.10.2026, arrested the accused, Haradhan Karmakar (35), a resident of Pati Colony, Road No. 2. All the stolen articles were subsequently recovered from his possession.
