Swift Police Action By Siliguri Police in Theft Case
On 02.10.2026, a complaint was lodged at Siliguri Police Station regarding theft in a rented room at Subhashpally that an unknown person allegedly entered the room through the balcony and stole a handbag containing ₹2.25 lakh in cash, a smartphone and several important documents.
Acting swiftly on the information, police initiated an investigation and, within six hours, arrested one accused person and recovered all the stolen articles.
The prompt action and effective investigation by the police team led to the speedy detection of the case and recovery of the stolen property.
