Delhi Court Judge’s Heartfelt Message to 10-Year-Old R@pe Survivor After Life Sentence to Convict

New Delhi, September 29 : In a deeply moving gesture, a Delhi court judge wrote a personal message of courage and reassurance to a 10-year-old R@pe survivor after sentencing the accused to life imprisonment.

The judge assured the child that her voice had been heard and that the courage she showed mattered. The message was written after the court sentenced the convict to imprisonment for the remainder of his natural life.

The Delhi High Court has now directed that the judge’s message, along with the compensation awarded to the child, be delivered to the survivor or her family within two weeks.

The High Court described the note as a “message of courage” intended for the young survivor, highlighting the importance of ensuring that a child who has endured such trauma feels heard and supported through the justice process.
