Gold Prices Witness Sharp Decline in India During Dussehra Week

Gold prices in India witnessed a significant decline during the week of Dussehra. According to India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) data, gold prices dropped by over ₹1,000 to reach ₹1,41,630 per 10 grams, taking the total weekly decline to more than ₹4,300.

Silver prices also continued their downward trend, recording a fourth consecutive day of losses. The white metal fell by ₹14,335 over the week, including a sharp drop of ₹5,362 on Friday, bringing its price to ₹1,94,415 per kilogram.
