Huge Landslide Blocks Rimbi–Yuksom Road Again; Nearby Houses Face Risk

Gyalshing, Sep 2: A massive landslide has once again blocked the Rimbi–Yuksom road, bringing vehicular movement along the route to a complete halt and raising serious safety concerns among local residents.

The recurring landslide has affected road connectivity, while several houses located close to the vulnerable stretch are reportedly at risk due to unstable slopes and continued debris movement.

Concerned residents have urged the authorities to take immediate measures to clear the road, assess the stability of the affected hillside and ensure the safety of families living near the landslide-prone area.

Commuters and residents have also been advised to exercise caution and avoid the affected stretch until conditions improve and the road is declared safe for movement.
