India imposes restrictions on silver imports : Reports
The government has imposed restrictions on silver imports. Under the new rules, import of a bar containing 99.9% or more by weight of silver is restricted.
The decision comes amid a broader policy push by the Centre to curb gold and silver imports following a sharp rise in inbound shipments and pressure on the trade deficit.
