Opposition Imposing Conditions to Avoid Genuine NEET Debate, Says Kiren Rijiju

New Delhi, July 23: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday accused opposition parties of imposing pre-conditions to avoid a genuine discussion on the NEET paper leak issue, as the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the fourth consecutive day.

Rijiju alleged that despite the government's willingness to hold a meaningful debate on the matter, the opposition was attaching conditions that were preventing the House from functioning smoothly. He said the continued disruptions had resulted in repeated adjournments of the Lok Sabha.

The minister reiterated that the government remains prepared to discuss the NEET paper leak issue in Parliament and urged all parties to participate in a constructive debate instead of disrupting proceedings.
