Precautionary Measures Ensured for Public Safety Amid Rising Teesta River Water Levels in Rangpo

Due to the recent rise in the water level of the Teesta River, immediate precautionary measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of the public in Rangpo. SDM Rangpo, Mrs. Sujata Subba, along with RNP President Shri Sanjeet Khati, SDPO Rangpo Shri Mahindra Subba, RO-AD Rangpo Shri Bimal Gurung, and MEO Rangpo Shri Suren Tamang, are actively monitoring the situation on the ground.

RNP staff, Rangpo Police personnel, and SDAC teams have been strategically deployed in vulnerable areas to safeguard lives and property. The administration urges all residents to remain alert, cooperate with authorities, and avoid venturing near the riverbanks during this period.
